How to Sync Assets Using CorelDRAW Cloud

This guide explains how to synchronize your design assets using CorelDRAW Cloud, enabling you to access symbols, fills, fonts, and graphics seamlessly across multiple devices and collaborate with team members. By leveraging the Cloud Assets workflow, you can centralize your design library, streamline project updates, and ensure brand consistency from anywhere.

Prerequisites

To sync assets, ensure you have:

  • An active CorelDRAW Graphics Suite subscription or a perpetual license with an active maintenance plan.
  • An active Corel account signed in through the application.
  • An active internet connection.

Step 1: Sign In to Your Corel Account

  1. Open CorelDRAW.
  2. Look at the upper-right corner of the application window.
  3. If you are not signed in, click the Account icon or navigate to Help > Account Settings to log in using your Corel credentials.

Step 2: Open the Assets Docker

  1. Go to the top menu and select Window > Dockers > Assets (on macOS, select Window > Inspectors > Assets).
  2. The Assets docker will appear on the right side of your workspace.

Step 3: Connect to Cloud Storage

  1. Inside the Assets docker, locate the location dropdown at the top.
  2. Select Cloud to view files and libraries saved to your Corel Cloud storage.
  3. If prompted, grant CorelDRAW permission to access your cloud workspace.

Step 4: Add and Sync Assets

You can add vector shapes, bitmaps, symbols, and color styles directly to your cloud library:

  1. Add via Drag-and-Drop: Select an object on your active canvas and drag it directly into the Assets docker under the Cloud tab.
  2. Add via Context Menu: Right-click the selected object on your canvas and choose Symbol > Create New Symbol, then save it to your Cloud folder.
  3. Save Entire Files: To sync an entire design file, select File > Save to Cloud (or Corel Cloud). Name the file and click Save. Any components within the file that are designated as shared assets will update automatically.

Step 5: Access and Update Assets on Another Device

  1. Launch CorelDRAW on your secondary device and sign in with the same Corel account.
  2. Open the Assets docker (Window > Dockers > Assets).
  3. Switch the view to Cloud. Your synced libraries and symbols will populate automatically.
  4. Drag an asset from the docker onto your canvas to use it.
  5. If an asset is updated by another team member or on another device, CorelDRAW will prompt you to update the linked asset to the latest cloud version.

Managing and Sharing Assets

  • Create Folders: Right-click inside the Cloud section of the Assets docker to create subfolders for specific projects or clients.
  • Share Libraries: Log in to the CorelDRAW web portal via your browser. Navigate to your files, select the desired asset folder, and click Share to grant view or edit permissions to collaborators via email.
