How to Set Custom Page Dimensions in CorelDRAW

Setting custom page dimensions in CorelDRAW allows you to tailor your workspace to exact project requirements, whether designing business cards, banners, or custom print layouts. This guide explains how to define specific page sizes when creating a new document, how to alter dimensions on an existing project using the Property Bar, and how to manage dimensions across multi-page files.

Setting Custom Dimensions for a New Document

  1. Open CorelDRAW and click on File > New (or press Ctrl + N).
  2. In the Create a New Document window, locate the Page Size section.
  3. Select your preferred unit of measurement (such as inches, millimeters, or pixels) from the Units dropdown menu.
  4. Enter your desired values into the Width and Height fields.
  5. Select either Portrait or Landscape orientation.
  6. Click OK to generate the custom-sized canvas.

Changing Dimensions in an Existing Document

You can modify page sizes at any point in the design process using the dynamic Property Bar:

  1. Select the Pick Tool from the toolbox on the left.
  2. Click anywhere on the blank workspace outside your design to ensure no objects are selected.
  3. Locate the Page Dimensions boxes on the Property Bar at the top of the screen.
  4. If needed, select your required unit from the Drawing Units dropdown list.
  5. Type your custom values into the Page Width and Page Height boxes and press Enter.

Applying Dimensions to Multi-Page Documents

When working with documents that contain multiple pages, CorelDRAW lets you choose whether custom dimensions apply globally or to individual pages:

  • Current Page Only: Click the Current Page icon on the Property Bar before entering dimensions to resize only the active page without affecting the rest of the file.
  • All Pages: Click the All Pages icon to apply the new dimensions across every page in the document.

Setting Dimensions via Document Options

  1. Go to the top menu and select Layout > Page Setup.
  2. In the Options dialog, ensure Page Size is selected in the left pane.
  3. Set the Size dropdown to Custom.
  4. Enter your specific width and height values, set the orientation, and click OK to save the changes.
