How to Export Multi-Page PDFs from CorelDRAW

Exporting a multi-page document into a single PDF file in CorelDRAW is an essential skill for creating brochures, catalogs, presentations, and print-ready documents. This guide outlines the straightforward, step-by-step process to ensure all pages in your CorelDRAW workspace are compiled accurately into one cohesive PDF document without losing formatting or quality.

Step 1: Prepare Your Document Pages

Before initiating the export, confirm that your project is organized properly within CorelDRAW:

  1. Open the Pages docker by navigating to Window > Dockers > Pages (or Objects in older versions).
  2. Ensure all pages are in the correct sequence.
  3. Verify that all elements intended for export are placed within the page boundaries and not scattered on the desktop workspace area.

Step 2: Open the Publish to PDF Window

CorelDRAW offers a dedicated publishing tool designed specifically for generating PDFs:

  1. Click on File in the top menu bar.
  2. Select Publish to PDF.
  3. In the dialog window that appears, choose the destination folder on your computer and name your file.

Step 3: Configure Export Range Settings

To ensure all pages are included in the final file:

  1. Click the Settings button in the lower-right corner of the Publish to PDF dialog box.
  2. Stay on the General tab.
  3. Under the Export range section, select Current document to include every page in the file. Alternatively, select Pages and enter a specific range (for example, 1-5) if you only need a subset of your document.
  4. Set the PDF preset dropdown according to your target output (e.g., Prepress for commercial printing, or Web for digital distribution).

Step 4: Adjust Compatibility and Quality (Optional)

While in the PDF Settings window, fine-tune the output:

  • Color Tab: Choose whether to output colors as CMYK (for physical printing) or RGB (for web and screen viewing).
  • Objects Tab: Ensure text is exported as curves if the recipient might lack your installed fonts, or embed the fonts directly. You can also adjust bitmap compression to manage file size.

Step 5: Save and Export

  1. Click OK to close the PDF Settings window.
  2. Click Save in the main Publish to PDF window.

CorelDRAW will render your project and generate a single PDF file containing all specified pages in sequential order.
