How to Access Video Tutorials in CorelDRAW
CorelDRAW includes built-in learning resources that allow users to watch video tutorials without leaving the application environment. This guide explains how to quickly find and launch these video guides using the Welcome Screen, the Help menu, and the Hints docker to enhance your graphic design skills.
Method 1: The Welcome Screen
The Welcome Screen serves as the central hub for learning materials in modern versions of CorelDRAW.
- Launch CorelDRAW. If the Welcome Screen does not appear automatically, navigate to the top menu and select Help > Welcome Screen.
- Click on the Learn tab located on the left-hand navigation pane.
- Browse the available tutorials. You will find categorized video tutorials, including beginner walkthroughs, tool-specific guides, and advanced design techniques.
- Click on any video thumbnail to stream and watch the tutorial directly.
Method 2: The Help Menu
You can directly access video links through the standard application menu at any time during an active project.
- Open your document in CorelDRAW.
- Click Help on the main menu bar at the top of the screen.
- Select Video Tutorials (or Tutorials, depending on your specific version).
- CorelDRAW will either open an integrated tutorial browser or redirect your default web browser to the official Corel Discovery Center video library curated for your specific software version.
Method 3: The Hints Docker
The Hints docker provides dynamic, interactive guidance and short video demonstrations based on the active tool you are using.
- Go to the top menu and select Window > Dockers > Hints (or Window > Inspectors > Hints on macOS).
- The Hints panel will open on the right side of your workspace.
- Select any tool from the main Toolbox on the left.
- The Hints docker will immediately update with instructions, tips, and animated demonstrations or video links relevant to that specific tool.
